Mcdonald's - South Kesteven

The order was wrong, almost like it belonged to someone else. The server seemed confused and untrained, so I requested to speak to the shift supervisor. The supervisor was rude and arrogant, not supporting the server and trying to blame me instead. This was a new and terrible experience at McDonald's. The supervisory staff clearly need better training in customer service. Overall, it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience.

This was my first time visiting McDonald's, and I was impressed by the delicious burgers and fries. The highlight of my experience was meeting Debbie, a friendly and incredibly helpful staff member who went above and beyond to assist me.

Firstly, I acknowledge I 'm probably not McD 's primary customer profile but I 'm not naive and know what I 'm likely to get when I visit one of their outlets. My expectation level is therefore set accordingly... low(ish) prices (we can all debate whether what you get is worth it), clean and well maintained premises, convenient opening hours, sensible locations and (for the most part) moderately polite staff. I decided to use the drive through... oh, what a mistake. The staff didn 't respond to my presence for what seemed like ages (no one else was there) to the extent I was tempted to move round to the pay window to find out what was going on. Nonetheless, I stuck with it but received no apology for keeping me waiting. The tannoy system is of very poor quality to the extent I couldn 't really understand what was being said but eventually I established that my chosen item (chicken burger thing) wasn 't available. I then waited for the menu which is on a TV screen to update so I could choose something else only to find it seemed to be permanently displaying graphics for the Monopoly promotion why do they not let us see the full menu? As it wouldn 't seemingly change display, I then hastened my choice and selected a Big Tasty burger to only be told that wasn 't available either as I say, it 's like playing battleships; you have to guess what they may have in stock and the garbled voice tells you whether it 's a HIT or MISS? I finally, on the third attempt, managed a HIT! Not my first (or second) choice but c 'est la vie and all that. I then got treated with complete ignorance at the pay window... I 'm not expecting silver service but it 'd be polite if they at least acknowledged my presence rather than leaving the glass window shut while they speak to the next customer. Indeed, isn 't it just good service to deal with each patron in turn rather than in this 'stop/start ' manner? So, with a clearly constrained menu was the food any good? I 'd like to say something positive here but the salad was limp, the burger barely tepid and I left thinking what truly awful value for money the whole experience was. And of course, as it 's a drive through I only discover these shortcomings after I 've left the site. Do I want to spend good money on fuel to drive back and get it sorted... not with the price of unleaded as it stands today. It was a quiet midweek visit, minimal other clients but regardless it leaves a lot to be desired. My advice... go somewhere else.

The service at McDonald's Bourne today was very disappointing. The drinks were placed carelessly on the counter and the staff member had already turned away before I reached the counter. Upon discovering there was no straw for the shake, I had to go back inside and ask for one. I was ignored for about half a minute before someone finally noticed me. The latte was barely warm and the shake had a sour taste, forcing us to throw it away. Overall, it was a negative experience with no redeeming qualities.

Everything was spot on, staff milling about cleaning tidying constantly, the food was hot well put together… Faultless!! When you have a treat as a family- this ticked every box! Thank You Bourne McDonalds…
