I always ask for extra basil, to get that sweet sweet taste. The broth is excellent, not greasy. They serve free jasmine tea and prices are very reasonable. I can't get enough of this place. Great for groups, families, couples and singles. Highly recommend.
Delicious food. Love this place. Always order the Beef, Broccoli, and Bok Choy stir fry, which was delicious until the last month. They changed their recipe for the sauce, and now it tastes like chicken broth. It 's not bad, but it 's not as good as it used to be. Love sitting in the restaurant and eating as well. You go in, they will seat you or you may be told to pick a seat. The menu has number codes for each item, and there is a pen and paper on the table. You write down the code for what you want on the order slip. The waitress brings you a tea pot and cups for tea while you order, and then she 'll take the order slip to the kitchen when you are done writing. The waitresses don 't generally talk to the customers or try and 'entertain ' which I like. It 's nice to not be bothered once in a while. They do their jobs, making sure your food is served well, and the food IS always served well. It 's great! When you 're done with your meal, walk over to the cash register to pay and you 're done. Very nice, simple dining experience with great tasting food.
Probably Best Vietnamese I've ever had!. This place is a real gem. I've had many things off the menu: the pho soup obviously which is what its famous for, vermicelli noodles, spring rolls (fresh and fried), pad thai, chow mein, lemon grass chiken and their standard rice pork egg and veggie dish. Everything is always fresh and comes out quickly. Never tried something I didn't like and the servers are great.
Give Me Mo Pho Dau Bo!. What a wonderful restaurant ! As you 're seated you get to enjoy hot jasmine tea! Pho Dau Bo gives an extensive menu. Among my favourites are their grilled chicken and pork. The avocado shake gives a bittersweet boost that seems just right after a hearty meal. Most of the meals fill you up completely. Very worth the price! <br/ <br/ Of course, the specialty of this store is their soup Pho Dau Bo. This roughly translates to 'Flaming Dragon Head '. Don 't worry; you aren 't actually eating dragons or anything! It is simply a combination of vegetables, beef, and noodles expertly put into one steaming hot bowl for you to enjoy. I am not a soup person, but this restaurant 's soup made me want to become one!<br/ <br/ Overall, this restaurant gives you a palatable sneak peek at Vietnamese cooking. The meat here is top notch. Five out of five you cannot go wrong with Pho Dau Bo!
I love this restaurant as my go-to place for a soupy bowl fix or just for some feel-good food. Awesome friendly warm customer service and really good Vietnamese drip coffee. Their menu is almost never ending and there is always options for trying something new.
