Unfortunately for us, they had a rush on their breakfast items and bakery goods so there really wasn 't a whole lot left for us to eat. Their new shipment had not yet arrived so we settled on splitting some pumpkin bread. I ordered their seasonal latte, and my husband got a classic black coffee. The service was fast and friendly. I could see how on a nice day, this would be a nice little spot to sit and enjoy coffee, but it was raining the day we visited and there is no indoor seating options. I did thoroughly enjoy the sweatshirt I purchased from them with the simple slogan: Drink Coffee Do Stuff . It is warm and cozy and I get compliments on it all the time.
WARNING: This listing used to be Black Cabin, which is the only reason it looks like it has good reviews! Like many others, we wish they would've kept *literally anything* from Black Cabin; the food, the coffee, the tea, the amazing staff. Instead the staff is horrible SO rude, acts like any questions you ask are a burden, consistently gets your order wrong, and super insensitive to allergy requests. Way too over priced for the quality and service you are getting. It's so sad to see a brand plummet. Bring back Black Cabin Chai, pistachio syrup, and soyrizo breakfast burritos and everyone will be able to deal with the terrible staff! In the meantime, go to FreeBird :
Used to be a great spot for coffee and breakfast sandwiches but now the coffee is watered, service is slow, orders are mixed up and food is sub par.
Update: this place used to be Black Cabin Coffee and is now some weird name place. This place used to have delicious lattes and amazing homemade pastries and now serves watered down coffee and prepackaged baked goods. No thank you.
A small cabin set away from the main street of Lake Tahoe, the coffee was excellent and the breakfast wrap was also amazing. If I'm ever back in Tahoe I will be paying the Black Cabin Coffee a visit
