Cafe Altitude - South Lakeland

The food was fantastic and the climbing wall was a highlight. I highly recommend it.

We visited this restaurant for the first time and we were very impressed. We were the only customers at first, so we were able to sit by the window and enjoy the amazing views. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a bacon and fried egg bagel, while my husband had a bacon sandwich on granary bread. Both dishes were delicious and had generous portions of bacon. We will definitely be returning the next time we visit Ambleside on holiday. Highly recommended.

The food is delicious and freshly made, the coffee is good, and the ambiance is nice. The tables are great for spreading out your map to plan the route you should have planned ahead of time.

Nice little cafe tucked away on the 2nd floor above the climbing wall. Ok for a rainy day but in warmer weather there’s no outdoor space so I imagine it will get very warm. Fair prices. Nice food that is well presented.

What a great cafe, really nice freshly prepared food and drinks served with a smile. Fab location with view out across town and hills but also internally at 3 story climbing wall plenty to enjoy.
