Cafe Ambio - South Lakeland

Here on the way back from the coast to our hotel in newby bridge. good service, decent coffee, scenes very strange with strange texture and very sweet, strawberry shortcake too hard to eat and also very sweet

The hotel is located next to the lakeland motor museum and very popular with our Sunday visit to lunch. the lunch menu fits most people, with vegan and other options available. make sure to check the board "Specials" that is reasonably too expensive. the fish finger butty with muddy heaps and a side chip were very good. the fish fingers were perfectly boiled and leave them with a Crispy battery and well boiled fish inside. the employees were friendly and fast to clear and clean tables, as customers left. the environment is next to a river and there are outside seats that were not used due to the weather.

The food at this restaurant is wonderful, and they are dog friendly! We stopped by after visiting the motor museum, which is also dog friendly, and grabbed a quick bite to eat. The restaurant offers lovely views of the lake from the window, and there is plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice.

Met family at this Cafe for drinks. Think we timed it well as a coach 'load ' were just leaving as we arrived. Weather was good and many were taking advantage by sitting outside on the terrace overlooking the river. Always a good venue to meet up. Friendly service.

Very busy cafe. You need to find a table first if ordering cooked food. Brodies coffee. Popular with visitors locals. Dogs also allowed
