Frydays - South Lakeland

I visited this restaurant for the first time while on vacation, and I was blown away by the delicious food. I ordered the regular fish and chips, which was enough to feed two people, while my husband went for the footlong sausage meal deal. The portions were huge, the food was beautifully cooked, and we couldn't finish it all. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, this would definitely be our go-to spot for fish and chips. Absolutely brilliant.

Fancied fish and chips one night and as this was a couple of minutes from where we were staying, we thought we'd give it a try. The food was excellent, our only issue was they said they had no small fish. We ended up with 3 regular ones which were too much (we could have shared 2 between us). Ended up costing nearly £30, which I thought was a bit pricey, however as I said the fish was nice (and enormous).

Went for Fish and chips. £19.90 for large fish and chips. Which is ridiculous. So I went for the homemade meat and potato pie. Which was basically a potato pie with a few sprinkles of undercooked mince. And I had a jumbo sausage which was just about cooked enough. Overall. Not impressed. Won’t be going to any Frydays again. First and last time

Fantastic take away, really good food and options on delivery or collection. Really efficient would definitely use again if I am in Kendal
