Heidi's Of Grasmere - South Lakeland

Had a nice vegan breakfast during a stay near Grasmere for a weekend. Good food and the staff were so beautiful. I was so hungry that I forgot to make a picture before dinner. Updated by previous rating on 2022-06-12

Impromptu stop in Grasmere and a short look at Happy Cow sent us to Heidis. Sat outside in the sun and ordered a beautiful coffee and delicious falafel sandwich with chilli jam, vegan Mayo served with frits. Basic prices and friendly service. Really enjoyed our food

When we were usually in grass mere, a coffee was called that was lucky because we didn't realize that Heidis made vegan options. We had breakfast, but would come back to taste the vegan breakfast or sausage butter.. Had a delicious coffee..very friendly staff and I guess it's family run as they don't help and invite. I had the falafel and Chili Marmelade Sandwich, which was very delicious.

We were staying in the lodge which was so cosy and lovely. Had the vegan breakfast which includes vegan black pudding. Wow! They also have oat milk for tea /coffee.
