When we got home made a sausage sandwich from the Cumberland sausage and it was absolutely amazing, some of the best sausage I have ever eaten! If you are in the area make sure you get some, you will not be disappointed
During our recent stay in Windermere, I had heard about this butcher shop and decided to visit early on a Thursday morning to pick up some pies, bacon, and sausages to take back home to Haydock. The pies were delicious, generous in size and filled with meat, while the sausages were perfectly seasoned. We will definitely be stopping by again the next time we are in Windermere.
After visiting Windermere, we brought home some of their Cumberland sausages and they were excellent. It definitely enhanced our trip.
Outstanding butcher shop located in the heart of town, offering a fantastic selection of pies and pasties. The Grafters Pasty is a must-try and is a perfect treat for a Friday. The sausages and bacon are of high quality, but the Lancashire haggis deserves a special mention - it is truly amazing!
I took a cool bag and freeze blocks with me. We saw the butcher on a wander around Windermere so the morning we was leaving we went and bought some meat and pie. I bought the chicken breast with Greek, jerk and parisian marinade. All very tasty. My husband had the steak pie and he said it was the best pie he has ever had.
