Lakeland Cafe - South Lakeland

The food is excellent. The service is always good. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere and you aren’t rushed with your meal. Highly recommend.

Had a fantastic lunch today 1/5/24 Sandwiches were full and bread was lovely I had the Beetroot, Walnut Goats Cheese salad, Amazing loads of beetroot, walnuts and cheese, not just a bowl of leaves like what you can get when you order a salad. We all had drinks and two scones and the bill was just over £40. Great food, service and value for money

Used to look forward to a visit to Lakeland as a treat when coming to the Lakes as great quality. Had breakfast here recently very dissapointing.Two tiny slices of 'artisan toast ' with a couple of the proverbial butter pats for £4 but £1 extra for a small pot of jam. Very uninspiring and poor value. Will not be back as discovered better quality and value nearby. You really need to do a lot better.

Excellent place for my family. Everyone was well catered for with vegan and fussy children options. The young waitress who helped us was called Emma and she went out of her way to make sure we were looked after, including our two doggos. The manageress was so warm and funny she had us all in stitiches. Sadly we live 300 miles away because I would make this place my local.
