Went back a third time and asked for a refund. Given incorrect change so had to go back. The quality was absolutely horrendous of what I did get. It's **** like this that send people away from local businesses. Wasted twenty minutes faffing about. Thanks.
I always make a point to stop by this restaurant whenever I visit Ulverston. They offer great value breakfast buns and hot drink deals. For dinner, I highly recommend the pasta dishes as they are unbeatable. The seating inside is cozy and perfect for a small group. The staff is friendly as well. A visit to this restaurant is a must when in Ulverston.
We had a great time at the food festival. The only downside was the absence of recycling bins and the use of plastic tasting cups for the alcohol. Come on Cumbria council, you should be setting an example at these events by promoting the use of sustainable products and encouraging vendors to do the same.
When I entered the restaurant, it was empty, but I had to wait a long time for my food to be cooked. I noticed that the prices were different from what was advertised on their website, and when I brought it up, I was told that their website was incorrect and I had to pay the higher price. The small bun I ordered for £2.50 came with cheap, unpleasant butter and two small, thin rashers of bacon that were not worth it. I have decided to make my own instead, as it will taste better and be more affordable. The pictures of the food on their website looked nothing like what I received, which felt like false advertising.
Excellent pasta of a weekday….. normally spicy with chorizo … other choices include chicken roll but pasta recommended
