We called here so my partner could taste their porter (I had lager). There is a great range of different beers and lagers plus soft drinks. We initially sat outside which was interesting, not least because someone came for a pint on her horse! It’s a small business park so we were effectively sitting next to a huge car park which, while not the most attractive, had seating that made it feel less industrial. The inside is equally basic with a mix of wooden tables and seats and upended barrels to stand and chat. We visited early afternoon and it was relatively busy and I would imagine it has quite a crowd on evenings and weekends. Staveley has enough of interest to warrant a visit even an overnight stay, especially if you like walking and, if you like beer I would say this place is a must.
If you like real ale (I do) then make a pilgrimage here and you won’t be disappointed. On our visit they had some eight or more real ales on offer covering a wide range of styles. Very nice too!
Fabulous beer and great service, most welcome after the Kentmere Round. Highly recommend the tasters. thank you!
Great range of beers that were kept immaculately. Great vibe inside and outwith attentive and friendly staff. Good value for money. Stayed in Staveley four nights and couldn't resist one or two beers a day here.
