I visited today with my sister our young and both waitresses just made many mistakes. it wasn't even busy so I'm not sure why they had such problems with remembrance of things. the game area itself is fab, but as for a caffe it needs definitiw an improvement and personal training.
The restaurant is pricey for just playing, but the kids had a good time. The food is excellent and portions are generous. I think the cost of play should be included or discounted when purchasing food. We paid £11 for 2 children and 2 adults before ordering food and drinks.
My 4-year-old adores Jollytots, so I will continue to visit despite the poor customer service. Today, when my sister and our boys visited, both waitresses made multiple mistakes. It wasn't even busy, so I'm not sure why they struggled to remember things. The play area is great, but the cafe could definitely use some improvement and staff training.
Yesterday, my toddler granddaughter had a wonderful time at Jellytots Cookies. There were plenty of toys for her to explore and play with, both familiar and unusual, which helped build her confidence. The play area includes various themed settings such as a fire station, kitchen, home, horse room, pirate ship, and sensory room. There are also semi-enclosed spaces for children to engage in imaginary play. The abundance of duplicate toys allows children to play together without jealousy issues. I also enjoyed a coffee and cake while there, and found the staff to be friendly. Good changing facilities are available. Although we had to briefly wait outside while everyone was checked off a register at the beginning of the session, it was not a problem since the weather was nice. Overall, it was a lovely afternoon spent with my granddaughter and I would highly recommend Jellytots Cookies, especially on rainy days.
I’ve been a few times and it’s a brilliant concept. It is somewhere we enjoy attending and will continue to go. Not sure how busy it was pretty covid as mine is a lockdown baby, but it’s a decent enough number of children and people in the cafe. They also have baby and toddler classes on for anyone looking for something to take their littles to. Foods do drink options are just ok, it’s not amazing but it’s mostly the kids experience that we go for. No issues with staff, they’ve all been very pleasant and accommodating as well which is great. Pleasant few hours to spend and good length of time given for each session. It is quite expensive compared with soft plays etc, but I assume covid and costs have to do with this. I also (perhaps wrongly, and if so, I apologise) thought that the cost of the play was taken from the cafe if ordering for kids, which hasn’t happened on my visits.
