Cafe Clicquot - South Melbourne

Ordered a flat white coffee to go with 1 sugar. Coffee was half full of foam and barista asked me 3 times how many sugars I wanted.I ordered a vegetarian muffin, but were told they had bacon in them!! Seriously!! So I had to have a cheese fill roll, as I had already paid by eftpos. This had been microwaved and was not cooked very well, so into the bin it went!Other salads and food looked OK though.

I was warned about this place when I first started working next door however was desperate for food so decided to give it a try for lunch. I won't be back. The food is gross, coffee is vile, tables are dirty and everything is way over priced. Moreover, this place literally has the worst service around. The boss (Asian guy) is just terrible. He is rude, dismissive and when you give him your card to pay, he will throw it back. I don't know where people get off behaving like this but I hope others heed my warning and keep walking up the hill to much better places instead of spending their hard-earned cash on a place that shouldn't be in existence.

Spaghetti with Meatballs $10.00) was a bit too ketchupy for my liking, and there was something about the flavour of the food that I didn't find too appealing. Had better luck with the Mini Frittatas $2.00 each) a cup shaped pastry very thin layered) filled with egg, cheese and vegetables tasted like a baked omelette. The Dimsims $2.00 each) were just about good, with generous beef and cabbage filling. <br/ <br/ Overall, decent value for money, but only if you're in the area.

Really nice soy latte. From the second day I came here the barista knew my order by heart. Now I don't even need to tell him what I want. I never have to wait long. Recommend for quick, reliably good coffee.
