However, she was completely overworked and seem to be the only waitress on the entire floor for the entire restaurant running all over the place. My son had the chef tasting and we had individual dishes my husband and I. The food was great but the waiting has to be addressed, you can't pay that amount of money for food these days with that type of lock and service.
Chef Phil Bryant has added tremendous value to the restaurant, revamping the menu with exquisite and ecclectic combinations of flavors and ingredients. The ambiance and decor are fantastic, and the service ties a bow around the entire experience. I will be returning often, as well as recommending Mi'talia to friends and family.
Fantastic service and the food was delicious. Very nice ambience and decor at this restaurant.
Celebrated a birthday...The staff were friendly and attentive. Had a wonderful time!
It 's unfortunate as the space is fabulous and our wait person was lovely, and the matre de was also; however, the person that brought us our food brought the wrong food and was then rude to us! The person dealing with the bill was also pretty unpleasant. So, 2 out of 4 gives an overall neutral score on service! Then, when they all wanted to go home, they flickered the lights to make us go, like they do in pubs! The food was at best mediocre. Mussels in chili were fabulous, my rock shrimp pasta was overcooked and the pistachio nuts that dressed it were stale. My friends both ordered the parmesan chicken and one dish was searing hot, the other was cold. Their appetizers were just OK . For a place that serves $17 cocktails and glasses of wine, I would expect a much higher level of service and much better food quality. I would possibly go back and sit at the bar, as the space is lovely, but I would never recommend it. Shame.
