Skyline Deli - South Milwaukee

The food is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The building is both beautiful and elegant. I tried the strawberry gorgonzola salad, a pastrami sandwich on whole grain bread with a variety of toppings, chicken and dumplings soup, and an egg salad sandwich on a croissant with different toppings. All the vegetables, bread, deli meats, and cheese were fresh and flavorful. The soup was served hot and was packed with dumplings, chicken, and vegetables. The salad was fresh and came with a delightful raspberry vinaigrette. My only complaint is that my salad today was missing almonds and onions, but it was still delicious!

As a regular diner here, I can say that the food is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. However, the service is incredibly slow. Even with online orders, I find myself waiting nearly 15 minutes before I can leave. It seems like the staff is constantly running back and forth to the kitchen. If you only have a 30-minute lunch break, it's often difficult to finish your meal in time when you return.

The food was excellent, and the service was quick. My only complaint is that it was a bit challenging to find my way there, but that's a minor issue. I’ll definitely be returning!

I am very pleased to take the take-out today. The last sandwiches and salads I had were great! I pick up my order and go to Grant Park to enjoy my lunch, and I found out that I have someone else's wrap. I was pretty disappointed. It is hard to eat a turkey pack with some broccoli, green onions and tomatoes when you were looking forward to a chicken strawberry gargonzola. I need to remember to check the bag and make sure I have the right sandwich next time.

Made to order sandwiches , premade entrees and plenty of other tasty items . No longer on Pennsylvania avenue they've moved to a location in South Milwaukee .
