The Waveney Inn - South Norfolk

Was staying onsite in one of the lodges (which was exceptional) and thought we'd skip cooking and pop here for dinner. And what a gem!!! Meals were very reasonably priced. Not a huge over complicated menu.... Just really really simple, well cooked food. We didn't have to wait very long at all. We both went for the chicken burger which I would 100% recommend. Was cooked to perfection. We then went to the back of the restaurant where there was a large room with a pool table, and loads of sofas/chairs to just be able to have a chill. Staff were super friendly. Service was exceptional and food delicious. Will definitely return again soon

Lovely freshly cooked food! very good portion sizes it's a up from us..... compliments to the chef and also the serving staff very friendly and polite.

We stayed as a family at a lodge for my mum’s 60th birthday, we booked the Waveney Inn to celebrate for a meal. The food was excellent, large portions and reasonable prices lots to choose from. As we was a large group the set up a table in their games room which was excellent for the kids to have room to play. A big thank you too Marianne who was very helpful to accommodate us and make it a special afternoon.

Had a lovely evening here, whilst staying in one of the lodges. Good quality food, very plentiful, served by friendly staff. Great views too across the marshes. Thank you.

My Wife I are staying at the Waveney River Centre enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Waveney Inn. We both had fish chips it was superb. The plate was full with chips peas a large portion of fish. The Staff looked after us it was a nice evening. Thank you
