Brave Old Oak - South Northamptonshire

This pub really is a little gem, One of our favourite places to eat as a family there is seven of us and we are always welcomed by the staff no matter how busy they are. We called up at Christmas where there was fourteen of us and was fitted in at short notice. nothing is too much trouble for them. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and the food is amazing. The menu has something for everyone. I highly recommend this pub if you are visiting Towcester pop in you won’t be disappointed or if you are new to the area give it a try you will defiantly return.

We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday with his parents and our children. It is a wonderful place, with very friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious, and we have no complaints at all. We highly recommend a visit.

My family and I came for lunch, and as always, the southern fried chicken burger was exceptional. The service was great, and all of our meals were delicious. Even the Guinness was perfectly poured. We will definitely be coming back here again.

Just popped in for a early evening meal after a hard day walking around Stowe Gardens. Menu was fairly standard, and we ordered scampi and chips, and sausage and mash, didn't have to wait too long, but food was excellent, so much that we didn't have room for a sweet, which looked very nice on paper Marston's pub, which was a plus, Pedigree on draught, service was excellent, and very nice atmosphere in the place Would definitely call in again if going through Towcester. Also a three hour free car park off Richmond Road, which was only about 100 metres from the pub.

We arrived as a large group of families from a Cumbria village on our holiday. The staff were fabulous, very helpful and accommodating for the children. Lindsay a member of staff was amazing with all the children and made us all feel very welcome. Food was fantastic and the chef was very accommodating to my super fussy 11 year old. Steak was cooked to perfection! Would definitely return again if we were ever down that part of the country. 10/10 !
