Lovely breakfast very friendly helpful staff, would definitely visit again busy little place with garden seating available
I am very disappointed with the long closure over Christmas. This restaurant is missing out on potential business during the busiest time of the year. There is no reason to be completely closed when other businesses are open.
Went to Flemings with a friend for a coffee, cake and a chat. Went up to the counter to place our order, there were three staff behind the counter, all very busy cooking breakfasts for other customers. We recieved no acknowledgement from any of the staff, that we even existed!! This went on for at least five minutes, if not longer, the staff were obviuosly very stressed and over worked. We were then acknowledged, with the usual will be with you soon. If I hadn't been with my elderly friend, I would of walked out along time before. When the older women was free, she took our order in rather a brash and impatient manner. We sat down and waited for our drinks and cakes. When I queried something about our order, that was met with a rather abrasive and dismissive, impatient response also. I have rated this establishment as poor rather than terrible, as to be fair the food was very good, it was just a great shame our outing was spoilt by a staff member who didn't know how to deal with customers in a polite and friendly manner, when working in a pressured environment
The breakfast coffee at this restaurant is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. I would have liked to stay longer, but unfortunately, while Wi-fi is free, charging laptops is not allowed.
