Both times, we were seated at a lovely table and received outstanding service. The food was great, and we also enjoyed a delicious cocktail. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic dining experience.
My husband and I recently dined at the Kite Restaurant and unfortunately, we had a very negative experience. The food was delicious, but the service was incredibly poor. The waiter was rude and ignored us, showing little concern for making our dining experience enjoyable. Despite the restaurant's supposed AA Rosette rating, the service was far below par. We were not impressed and will not be returning. We do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, as even McDonald's provides better service.
We attended on a Saturday evening the food was nice, well presented. My wife particularly enjoyed the feather blade beef. I had salmon which was nice too. The food was good, the drinks were a little pricey, a captive audience for the hotel guests. I would eat there if I stayed at the hotel again.
The restaurant has a pricey and small menu with only five main course choices, one of which is vegetarian. I opted for the fish and chips priced at £16.95 and found it to be overpriced. The cheeseburger, priced at £14.95, didn't look appetizing either. While the restaurant is nicely decorated, it lacks atmosphere.
No No No, small expensive portions. Not a good Sunday lunch at all and I have no Idea why they would want to start this new venture when we have a far better option only 1 mile down the same road in the Englands Rose? BUT the Lambert is a very good place for morning or afternoon Tea indeed as the service is good and the range of teas wide and will cater for every taste.
