What a wonderful atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent

We had a lovely meal and the staff were very helpful.

Myself and a couple of friends had lunch sat outside on a warm summer day wonderful! The atmosphere and service was good and the food and wine were good value. We will return and recommend.

My only criticism would be that the wooden chairs were uncomfortable because they had very small seats, and there was a very strong smell of cleaning agent, like dettol, when we first arrived which dissipated once the food smells commenced. Perhaps they could buy some larger chairs and change their cleaning fluid to something less pungent? However, the service and food was really great.

A great atmosphere and welcoming, friendly service. The menu was good pub fare and everything that came out of the kitchen looked to a very good standard. Our burgers were delicious. Really enjoyed the local ales a real gem of a place.
