What a let down. Have been past many times and always wanted to stop then finally got the chance. Ordered the famous five which is expensive for 1 sausage, 1 bacon, 1 egg. It took ages to arrive yet they still managed to under cook the egg and the white was liquid. Bacon had more fat than meat. Cheap watery baked beans. It came on a child sized paper plate with plastic knife and fork. £2 for an instant coffee in a polystyrene cup. Table was sticky and other tables not cleared even though it wasnt busy. Rationed to 1 tiny salt sachet and 1 non brand ketchup. No wonder this cafe in a prime position is empty at 10:30 in the morning
Alway love a trip over on weekend for ride out and Special H’s breakfast. Staff and customers very welcoming and you get a good look at motorcycle and cars while there
Been going here for years to meet up with bikers etc 2009 onwards Can't belive the place is still going. It's pretty grotty and food seems below par. Most I have is drinks and sealed snacks. The owner should spend some money on it and make it into a better roadside stop.
Proper greasy spoon on a busy road serving ok food. Breakfast was ok and I enjoyed it but not the comfiest cafe.
