Daddy's Seafood Cajun Kitchen

If you love seafood and the distinctive Cajun flavor, I highly recommend trying the shrimp here. The portions are generous, so you won't be disappointed when you order a plate. If seafood isn’t your thing, then I suggest the Cajun Chicken Pasta instead. It delivers that robust Cajun taste without the seafood. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the pasta pairs wonderfully with their Alfredo sauce. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a group that has differing preferences when it comes to seafood.

This spacious seafood restaurant on the island offers lovely views. We shared a platter of fish, chicken, and shrimp with fries that was more than enough for two adults and a child. The $3 happy hour margaritas were fantastic, and I also enjoyed the refreshing "Green Gator" cocktail. We were celebrating a birthday, and the waiter was very thoughtful, providing us with extra plates and utensils. There’s convenient parking available too.

The food at this restaurant was generally good, depending on your choice. I enjoyed the fried oysters, which were tasty. However, my niece ordered the seafood bag, and it lacked flavor; she couldn't finish it. My daughter had the chicken Alfredo, and that was quite good too. Our waitress started off well when we arrived, but after she brought our food, she seemed to disappear. I noticed her chatting and laughing with her coworkers while we were in need of things like drinks and napkins. Just a heads up, we were a party of 12.

When had passed this place so we finally looked it up and decided to try it. The waitress was sweet but as time went on she was taking to her coworkers saying how they all were ready to get off and didn't pay the table much attention ???? we had to keepasking her to fill our glasses and things of that nature. The food wasn't bad at all, I the snapper I enjoyed it. The gumbo wasnasty. The appetizers were good fried mushrooms and fried pickles.

I just returned from Daddy's where I enjoyed the Tuesday lunch special, and I must say, the Shrimp Tacos were incredible! Our server, Nancy, took care of us and did an outstanding job. She has a great personality and was very attentive, ensuring that our lunch experience was exceptional. We have been visiting Daddy's for many years as Winter Texans, and we always look forward to returning to this island restaurant that offers both amazing food and excellent service. Daddy's has daily lunch specials, making it a perfect spot to reconnect with friends we've met over the years. I highly recommend giving Daddy's a try, and be sure to ask for a table with Nancy—she will make sure your lunch exceeds your expectations!
