Painted Marlin Grille

Every time I visit South Padre, I make sure to stop by the Painted Marlin at Sunset for its incredible views and atmosphere. The wait staff and servers are fantastic, making the dining experience even better. The menu is impressive, offering everything from hamburgers to tuna and mahi-mahi, all of which are delicious. Their bar is also noteworthy. I recommend calling ahead to get on their seating list for quicker access to a table. The highlight of our visit was how they celebrated my husband's birthday with a delicious slice of chocolate cake. They also serve Key Lime Pie, which is a must-try!

It was so excellent that I had to return for another visit before I left the area!

This is likely my favorite spot on the island. It would be an ideal location for a date night. Rating: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

Amazing selection of food and cocktails. What really made this a 5 star for me was the service. The crab fingers were delicious. There was a small mix up with one of our entrees but upon realizing it the restaurant immediately fixed the issue and brought out some extra food for free. Everyone was so friendly and the food was so delicious, we will definitely return next vacation.
