Winchell's Donut House - South Pasadena

Most of the bagels and cream cheese are fresh. Once I had to ask her to replace the cream cheese. It's best to get their donuts tomorrow because they're sometimes stabbed. Can't stand Stale Donuts. The lady in there is overwhelmed, they really don't have enough workers. All right.

Listen to this! I just came out of that Winchelles in south Pasadena and was mistreated by the stupid and condescending cashier or manager. He had a thick accent and glasses. He was insulted when I told him his disgusting donuts were stale!!! Someone is disturbed because I mention the truth. He starts DISAGREEING with me and I then said they 're stale every time I go in there. I asked him if he had anything fresher. He finally gives me one raised donut and I give him my cake donut I had broken in half. He continues ARGUING look it is soft! And presses it. I said Not to me . It 's stale. He said we made them in the morning . I said well that was the morning it 's FIVE PM NOW. No donut in the afternoon is fresh when made in the morning. What a creepy jerk getting bent out of shape over a donut. I tried to be as nice as I could to someone who is obviously MENTAL and doesn 't have good customer service. I 'm sure he is abusive with that kind of personality.

So the donuts and other baked good ARE GOOD. Place looks clean. Just the night shift guy starts out with a weird I don 't want to help you, I don 't want you here, you 're disturbing me vibe. We waited for him to come to the front to greet us. The bell rang when we entered. He never came out until I walked around the counter and said, hi, and, we 're ready to order ?. He said in Spanish, ok I 'll be there. Dude was making donuts and CONTINUED to make them instead of stopping and taking our order. Like we waited, and waited, and waited. I had to go back to look at him like, are you for real? There was no other customer and no other worker. He 's not friendly at the beginning. I think he 's just bitter. We tried changing his vibe and it worked, he became more friendly. But just a fyi he comes off with a leave me alone vibe. Poor guy.

I stopped in here at 3:00 in the morning. The baker that was making the donuts was informative very very nice and I would love to go back and see him again. We had a nice talk and he was friendly and inviting. The food was fresh and clean as very very clean

I 've never really had a good friendly service at this location. But, at least, I don 't expect the poorest service like today. When I entered in the early evening today, there were no other customers inside. But, the worker/staff simply continued to ignore my presence standing and waiting for her. After waiting by the donut display assuming she was doing something urgent(? , I finally said hello to her at the cashier. She looked at me and returned to looking(writing? at some paper. Not even the smallest gesture of courtesy like saying, hello or I will be right with you. I continued to stand there for a while, then left. I went to the new Krispy Kreme that opened one block away recently. I saw Windehcll 's put a large window banner with We work for you 24/7. Do You?
