I was there with family to visit my daughter who attends Rutgers. They didn’t have biscuits for no one my daughter says that happened the last time she was there too. I made a big deal of it that I wanted them before my entree and that’s when the server emerged with them kind of sneakily. I heard others around us complaining about the same thing as well as their dirty table. The food was just okay. I could tell mine and my wife’s was sitting because it was lukewarm. The bathroom also had no paper towels smh. My daughters said there was little in the ladies room. Also there was so much confusion checking in for my reservation. I saw people pretty frustrated. This location is not well run. I don’t plan to revisit this location

I realize that Red Lobster is a chain and can't be compared fairly to a fine dining restaurant. However, you can't go wrong during Lobster fest or other special promotions. We recently went for a promotion of choose items to create your plate one lobster dish, like a Maine lobster tail or lobster alfredo, one entree like a oz steak, and two shrimp items such as coconut shrimp, fried shrimp, grilled shrimp or shrimp scampi. This came with salad, two sides, and hot biscuits. There are some regular items on the menu that are always of good qualityvalue like the mixed shellfish pot with pasta and garlic, fried seafood platter, lunch time fish, shrimp or lobster tacos or the Choose Your Own Combination with choice of two items or three items for these combos there are at least items to choose from. I have an elderly aunt who loves to get the small scallops and grilled shrimp skewer as her two choices. Meals all are accompanied by great cheesy garlic biscuits, choice of salad, and usually at least one other side. The day we were there the manager was extremely personable we have never met an unfriendly manager there and the server was attentive and friendly as well. The restaurant was very busy but we could watch a lot of the wait staff working hard to keep their tables happy. I would suggest checking out special promotions and giving Red Lobster a try if you haven't been there in a while. They have a much larger menu than you probably remember

Red lobster south plainfield, nj is a good choice! we ordered two very good meals, the seafarer firm and the marine firm (both in the price range of $30.00). a plate was fried shrimp, grilled maine lobster ****, garlic shrimp, and a spit of 4 fantastic scallops. the other was fried shrimp, the spits of the skallops, and lachs stabbed with Langostino sauce. each came with a choice of two sides and the cheddar bay kekse. our choices were garden salad and kartoffels. everything was very good! our waiter was new, but very concerned about doing a good job; He checked with us several times, and I also heard him ask someone else if his cocktail had come as he demanded. this customer was also very satisfied and sweated with the server. another server that recognized us (I was surprised by this, came by to ask how our grandchildren did because she remembered her photos from a previous visit. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. the only real after part of most of the red Lobster chain is the something dated decor. I can live with it.
