Friendly's - South Portland

We went with a group, last sunday, the servers were friendly and the food was decent. Orders were correct and everyone got their food at the same time. Nothing really blew us away but it was a good place to get some food, and tasty ice cream, late afternoon on a Sunday.

Amelia here was really great. She was friendly and great. As for the food, slight overcook on the burger, but no fault to the waiter. Also a forgivable offense as it is better to overcook than undercook. Ice cream was excellent as always. Also of note, I use a non-linear method of calculation. Overall would rate 9.1 10 however did not receive the fifth star as I reserve it for places that are flawless. In all fairness everyone makes a mistake once in a while. Therefore is very difficult in my opinion to earn.

Today my friend and I came in. I had the soup salad and the free medium sundae! The person who served us was Garrett! He was absolutely amazing, very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. This was my first time here, I will come back again.

Stopped for Lunch on the way to the office 12/28/23. Ordered a Reuben w/fries and Coke. Excellent experience Reuben meal was delicious, service from Cathy as I recall was 5 star...can't wait to return ..in 2024 of course. No ice cream this time, but that's just fine did not need it.

An older restaurant franchise with familiar menue. Could possibly benefit from an update. Very enjoyable
