Nellie's Tea Company - South Portland

My friend and I went for a tea tasting at Nellie’s Tea Company and Marianne was the sweetest host! The tea was phenomenal (so many great options to choose from) we had a great experience. 10/10 recommend!

We had an delicious cream tea with fantastic scones, lemon curd, clotted cream, and jam. Has a huge selection of tea, and we bought our 1st tea pot. We will definitely be going back soon.

What a wonderful place!!! My girlfriends and I went to Portland ME for a quick girls weekend! As lovers of tea we searched out something to do that was tea related and found out about Nellie’s Tea Company. In advance of our trip we contacted the shop and had the pleasure of talk with Marianne, the owner and we decided to do a Tea Tasting Class. What a fun and educational experience. Marianne was such a delight, we learned a lot and sampled some marvelous teas. We also were treated to a few pots of our favorites and some very tasty treats prepared by Marianne. If you find yourself in Portland and have the opportunity to visit Nellie’s and spend sometime with Marianne I would highly recommend it!! It was a real treat!!!

Marianne kindly returned my phone message within a business day and answered all of my questions, even though I wasn't patronizing her business. It's rare to find that kind of professionalism!
