Cumin - South Ribble

I was disappointed when I tried to order takeout tonight. After waiting a long time for someone to answer the phone, they informed me that they were too busy to do takeout orders. This was frustrating, especially during these difficult times. We will not be giving them our business again.

We have visited this restaurant twice before and enjoyed great meals, but things have changed in 2020. The service was poor, with only two staff members working - one at the reception and bar, and the other serving tables. I ordered a chicken dish that was described as being in a tomato-based sauce, but it was battered like a pakora, which was not mentioned on the menu. The keema rice was also bland. I mentioned my disappointment to the waiter, who apologized but did not offer a refund. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

The owner of this establishment and all the staff are very professional. The food is incredible, especially the dishes with cumin.

Chicken thali meal , 2 chicken curries samosas ,rice ,naan bread and Aloo Gobi cauliflower and potatoes tomatoes side dish. Chicken Korai along with chips absolutely fantastic. This is now our local curry house. Staff really nice. Support your local curry house.

This was our second visit for the thali tapas offer on a Tuesday and it was just as good as last time. 3 curries (1 lamb, 1 chicken, 1 veg), onion bhajis, seekh kebabs, pilau rice and garlic naan bread all for the bargain price of £8.95. Everything tasted amazing and the service was fantastic. Can't wait to return again soon. The menu for the thali is changed weekly and announced in advance on their Facebook page.
