I hope they check it out as it is a great place to go!
A few weeks ago. good choice of drinks and cheap. was quite quiet when I went, so there was no great atmosphere, but I feel when it was busy that would be different. not tried eating here, but the menu seems to be written as renter in the opposite to standard greene king pub meals. can try
Good selection of drinks, haven't eaten here but food is available. Interior is good, but seems to have a look of a restaurant rather than a pub. Would benefit from some nice armchairs (country pub style) and throwing down some soil turf to make a beer garden as the carpark is unnecessarily sized
I absolutely adore this pub! I visited in early September, after attending a family funeral. My first impressions were that it was very clean and tidy with great decorations. The owner and his wife were very welcoming. The buffet spread was absolutely delicious, with a variety of high-quality choices that suited everyone's taste. It truly felt like a family-friendly place, and I wish I could bring this gem to my own neighborhood!
The pub has been recently under new management by a lovely couple. They are very friendly people. Although I only had a drink and did not try the food, dining options will be available next week with the arrival of a new chef. We are excited to see the pub return to its former glory.
