New Golden Wok - South San Francisco

I visited this restaurant on November 5, 2022, at 6:30 PM. When I entered, the staff member approached me and asked what I wanted. I informed him that I was there to dine in, but he rudely replied "NO" in an angry tone, so I decided to leave. There were no signs indicating that it was takeout only before I walked in. You've just lost a potential new customer.

I ordered takeout and requested the mushie pork, but they didn't include the sauce. When I tried to contact them, there was no answer and their voicemail was full. As a result, we had to eat our meal incomplete. I'm really disappointed.

We've been dining at this restaurant for over 20 years, and it used to be fantastic. However, in the past year, the quality has declined. You can no longer place orders over the phone, and the delivery driver has been rude, even adding his own tip. The prices are quite high for what you receive. The fried rice lacks color and vegetables, the sweet and sour pork was mushy, and the beef and broccoli had no sauce or flavor whatsoever. This was our favorite spot, and we’re really going to miss it!

The chicken was great! Nice and hot! The rice was good. The egg roll was hot on outside frozen in the inside. The soup was not my type of soup so no comment. After eating the Cat sound came from the kitchen Meowing (As if it was going into hot water)

The Chinese cuisine you grew up eating. Flavors were in point large size portions but quality was so delicious.
