I found this on Uber eats amazing some of the best fried chicken I’ve had.

I 've known this place was here, inside the gas station, seemingly forever. There is also a location in Oneco 15th St E 51st Av that has gizzards livers, which is what made me finally stop here, this one does not. ?‍?Good luck patience will be needed.The staff is friendly but the woman staffing the chicken counter in the back did not appear to understand any English save the numbered choices. That didn 't help with my questions. A young man appeared and we were able to get most of those questions answered except, oddly, what hours the chicken is available. You see, I stopped in one evening a few weeks ago around dinner time 6 ish and found it completely closed up cleaned up for the night. The older man at the register was uncertain as to hours and guessed at a 3 p.m. shutdown. The adventure continues. ?I got an 8 piece dark meat $13 with 6 biscuits $5 . Mixed 8 piece was $17, all white meat $18 and they were out at about 12:30 p.m.The chicken is tasty, crispy and redundantly crunchy , a bit salty and very juicy.The 'biscuits '. These are very atypical biscuits for an American chicken joint. They are NOT big, fluffy buttermilk biscuits. They are closer to home made English biscuits, i.e., cookies. About 2.5 inches across, less than an inch high and crunchy. Yep, crunchy. Oh, and blueberry. Short, crunchy, blueberry 'biscuits '. Now you know. They aren 't terrible taken for what they are, but leagues away from what I wanted and expected.I didn 't get any of the other sides, like red beans rice, or try the enticing looking fish, but I plan to return for those.Until then, the chicken is very good, not quite Popeye 's good but not as thickly battered either. The biscuits are weird and the people working there are uncertain with the hours of operation. Post some hours and fix/rename those crunchy pucks and I 'd have given 4 stars. If the other sides are good, I might adjust this up anyway.
