Melody Bar - South Saskatoon

What a great place to stop cocktails when in Saskatoon. The menu is of a manageable size to choose with a very nice selection, but the bartender makes drinks to your taste with spectacular results. Melody's up there with the best. We didn't try the food, but the offers looked very good. My advice is to go at least twice.

Very simple lounge, good drinks, somewhat more than the others in the area, DJ played, a few people dancing, some couches and the bar to sit....

We went out last night for a few drinks on a well overdue date. Even when entering, we were impressed by the professional performances of the door staff, all saw incredibly smart. You go down to the bar, past a fish pond, and the...manager welcomes you, and then personally shows you to your places and leads the bar staff to name. They didn't have a DJ live music when we were there, but the music was great, and the general atmosphere relaxed, fun and informal. The cocktails are brilliant - we have never seen a menu, our bartender only asked what we liked and did things he thought we would enjoy - and we have! This bar is the place where I would go to London or New York. Saskatoon is blessed to have this place and everyone who does not enjoy it lives in the 70s!

This place was shut down and dingy was looking for. It smells pretty chic. I found it strange, there was no live music on a Friday night when it was supposed to be a jazz bar. The service was good. I had an excellent jalapeño potion. I wouldn't go back there...

Went in with my daughter to celebrate her university completion. Nice upscale place with some good bourbon and Scott selections. Crowd was a bit upscale, but bartender said we selected best drinks in the place so they are sociable. Nice small band playing cool vibes....Best with a group, but woukd be good for couples too. Only slight downer was not real busy so the vibe was only decent.
