Made an order for between £50-£60. This was for a group that included vegetarians. Was told it would be around 45 minutes. Ending up taking about and hour half. Finally got home to find that items were missing or wrong. Called the takeout to inform them and they said it f we drove back they would give us missing items but that they had gone a head a substituted some of the other items as they’d run out. I wish they had told us this when we originally picked up the order as what they didn’t tell us about was that they had swapped vegetable samosas for meat ones! By the time we got to sit down and eat everything was cold, a lot of it missing and left with food we couldn’t eat as it was meat. Asked them for a partial refund, which they refused. No apology, nothing. A lot of other unhappy customers also complaining that night about missing order items and the time it took. I understand that some times it can be busy and therefore have knock in effect with timings but then to not communicate changes to order or make a good will gesture as an apology in the way of a partial refund is really bad service. Used to use Ayshas years ago and the service was really good. Disappointing and probably wouldn’t eat from there again
Whow. Fantastic food and huge portions. Chef Owner has been Taunton and Deane Curry Chef of the year on five occasions at his previous restaurant and you can see why. Only negative is that there is no cauliflower Bhaji.
The actual curry is okay but you need to be prepared to wait 30+ minutes, after your collection time, for it.
Ordered a take-away using the app. It was simple to use. We then drove over to collect the meal. On arrival we were acknowledged by the front of house staff told our order would take a few minutes. The smell of the spices was lovely. We arrived to home to find complimentary poppadoms and onion salad. The portions were a really good size compared to the normal small containers you usually get. Keema Nan was large. The meal was too much for us to eat in 1 sitting. Good to be able to order dishes that we have not experienced before. We were really pleased with the quality and quantity of the dishes. Sorry to see negative reports posted but this evening there is no fault with the take-away and we will be returning again.
