Costa Coffee - South Somerset

Great place to stop by. The staff at Chard are excellent, making it one of the best coffee shops in the area.

There was one girl at the restaurant who was very hardworking and helpful. However, another girl with bleach blonde hair was not as helpful. She was often on her phone or chatting with men outside, even when there was a line of customers waiting at Costa. This happened at 10:15 am on July 5th, 2024.

Worst Costa I've ever visited. The staff was extremely slow and effortless. I had to wait for +30 mins for the girl to serve 4 customers, they messed up someone's order too. And to top it up I had to pay cash, which wouldn't be a problem since the bank is across the street. But getting back at the end of the line to wait another awful 30mins for the girls slowly serve the new line of customers. No thanks, I rather go Eleos. I hope this Costa manager have a word with the employees... Because they're completely and ultimately UNPROFESSIONAL.

Sian provided excellent and friendly service at this restaurant, which was also very clean and well-maintained.

5 of us came in for a drink and a small bite to eat. 4 of the drinks we wanted to order were out of stock and the staff were rude and unapologetic about it. Very disappointing.
