Morrisons Cafe - South Somerset

I had Sunday lunch today and thought the price was reasonable. I believe the beef may have been microwaved, but the rest of the meal was satisfactory. The cauliflower cheese was delicious, as was the Yorkshire pudding. The service was consistently cheerful.

The waiter was very rude when he first brought the food to me. When I saw the food, I almost vomited because it looked like moldy cat food. I also choked on a raw mushroom while kids in the background were playing hockey with the black puddings on the greasy floor. We had to go buy our own knives and forks from the supermarket because theirs were dirty. It looked like someone had scraped plaque off of them. It was difficult to find a table because the staff were lazy and left them dirty. There was also an old lady's gray hair on the table. I am now writing this from the bathroom because the food has gone right through me.

This is an excellent spot to enjoy breakfast either before or after your shopping excursion. The service was fantastic and the staff were always polite. Thank you.

Decided to come in for a quick breakfast before holiday. Food had to be ordered on the touch screen and you have to get a table first as it needs a number for your order. Fairly easy to order though but if you only want a drink i think you can see a member of staff and order at the tills. Food came out fairly fast, toast was very big thick slices of bread which was edible but not overly toasted. The rest was ok. The mushroom on one plate has a large unpeeled field mushroom which was not that nice but gave to another person on our table. Overall we would go back again just need the food a little hotter if we are honest but overall good value and staff friendly.

All Morrisons cafes are the same. The same menu but it ends there. Wincanton has some good staff making your visit just a little better . Outstading value for money breakfasts. Never had a bad coffee. Credit where it's due , 5 stars from me
