The Old Inn - South Somerset

I have been looking for somewhere like this for ages! I often visit friends in Devon from my home in Hertfordshire and wanted a nice spot for a lunch stop around the halfway mark. This fits the bill perfectly. Location wise it’s just 2 minutes from the A303 halfway into the journey. The pub has real character, the staff were friendly and there was a good vibe in the place. I had the Sunday Roast and it was excellent, perfectly cooked, tasty and generous. Parking: Private car park

Arrived when the website said it was open to have lunch between Devon and London. It was closed. Be nice if the cc website was kept up to date. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10
