Lychgate Coffee - South Staffordshire

I discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago and have been impressed by their great breakfast and sandwiches. The service is always top-notch, and the establishment is clean and friendly, making it a great spot for a coffee and chat or a lunch with friends. I highly recommend it to everyone - give it a try!

During a bike tour of Shrewsbury, we decided to take a break. There were a few of us and we found that a popular café was too crowded for us to sit inside or outside. However, rather than turning us away, they offered to bring our food and drinks to a shaded area next to the church next door. How could we refuse? The delicious coffee and food arrived quickly, and we easily found chairs and tables to use in the churchyard. It was a pleasant experience overall, and we will definitely return. A big thank you to the Lychgate.

Today was fantastic. We enjoyed our meal outside in the beautiful sun. The speck sandwich was delicious. The staff took great care of us considering the current restrictions. The people were lovely.

Perfect location for a caffe. good choice on the menu, no kocher so there was a little wait in the food, but it was delicious and good inexpensive. up there!

Stopped here whilst cycling. The pistachio and courgette cake was the best I’ve ever had...literally the best cake ever. Staff were friendly and didn’t mind me lowering the tone in my cycling get up. Will stop again!
