The Greenhouse Kitchen

I used to come to this restaurant almost every Sunday for their carvery lunch. I recently visited for the first time in a while and was very disappointed to find that they only offered one choice of meat (turkey). In the past, they used to have a selection of turkey, gammon, or beef, and occasionally lamb. Additionally, they only had two vegetable options: broccoli and carrots. While the meal was okay, the lack of variety was quite disappointing.

Today, I ordered two tuna dishes with baked potatoes at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the portion of tuna we received was very small, even smaller than what a child would typically be served. The baked potato that my son received was also hard, likely because it was frozen. We have visited this restaurant before and always received larger portions, so we were disappointed with the amount of food we received this time. We hope that the restaurant will adjust their portion sizes to match the prices they charge. We will be trying a different restaurant next time in search of larger adult-sized portions.

I arrived at this restaurant with my family, hoping to enjoy a meal after strolling through the garden centre. However, we were disappointed to find a sign outside the room announcing an early closure due to an event. The lack of online advertisement regarding the early closure was frustrating and made our experience very poor.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch after visiting the Garden centre. Greeted by friendly staff and sat on the nice comfy sofas. The basket meal arrived hot and my son enjoyed the Brie wedges chips. I had the Brie and bacon panini, again hot and delicious, good quality bacon within. My Mum enjoyed the jacket potato, again hot and tasty, only small suggestion it would of been nice to have an accompanying salad, just a few leaves would do. Otherwise great experience, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Would recommend and return Thank you

Just after lockdown, managed to grab a bite to eat, great staff, great atmosphere and great cakes, and even better Eggs Benedict. Will definitely visit again
