Subway - South Thomaston

Quick and easy subway to get in and out of if you are shopping at Walmart. Service has always been friendly.

I enjoy going here once in a while and I like the sandwiches.

Tonight, while shopping at Walmart around 6:45 PM, I asked what time the deli closed. I continued shopping until 7:15 PM and went to order a sub, only to find out they had closed early. They told me I couldn't order anything. This felt like false advertising to me.

I arrived at Sunway today at 11:30 and had to wait a few minutes for assistance. When I finally placed my order, the staff seemed rushed and only offered me a choice between flatbread or a wrap. This limited menu selection was disappointing.

I have dined at many Subway restaurants, including this one when it first opened. I remember when sandwiches were only $5. However, I have noticed that the price for extra meat has increased to $3 at every Subway I have visited. While I understand that prices change over time, I find it outrageous to pay $3 for just 6 pieces of salami or 4 pieces of speck. Additionally, being charged $0.75 for a single, tasteless piece of speck seems excessive. Online, the price for extra meat is still listed as $1.50. My suggestion for those dining at this Subway is to order online and pick up their food to ensure they are not overcharged for extra meat toppings.
