Mussel Pot - South Yarra

They take cards ! Mussels are very fresh! Yum! And the owner was super friendly. I think an average 5-7 minutes waiting time to collect from order. Oh my picture is just half of what I got for take away, the proportion is actually very big.

The signature van at Prahran Market offers exceptional mussels. They are fresh, come in a variety of flavors, and are reasonably priced.

The mussels were delicious and clearly very fresh. I tried them with red wine and chili, which complemented the flavors perfectly. For $13, I got around 20 mussels along with some bread for dipping in the sauce.

The team, including Alex and Pixie, has done an outstanding job. They've kept the menu straightforward, focusing primarily on mussels prepared with a variety of sauces. My favorite dish is the “hot hot hot” chili mussels. Be sure to visit them at QVM as well!

Had the grilled butter and garlic half mussels from Queen Victoria Market today and it was incredible. The garlic and butter were just the right amount but not too overpowering. The mussels tasted super fresh and were so flavoursome. Loved the crispy texture of the 'toppings '. An absolute bargain at $10 for the dish. A generous portion too.
