Dunkin' - Southampton

I've been a loyal customer at this restaurant for nearly 12 years. It used to be a delightful spot for breakfast, but recently things have changed. There are often long wait times, not due to its popularity, but because of a lack of staff. The older gentleman who has been making sandwiches for some time now seems to be less attentive to customer satisfaction. I would gladly update my review if they hired more staff, as the food has consistently been good. Otherwise, it has turned into quite a frustrating experience.

This Dunkin' Donuts is easily the worst in the area. I placed a mobile order for two chocolate frosted donuts, one Boston cream, and some coffee. While they did manage to prepare the coffee, the donuts were completely missing. When I arrived to pick up my order, the employee didn’t offer any explanation at all. I tried to ask about the missing donuts, but they ignored my inquiries, engrossed in their own conversation. Eventually, they informed me that none of the donuts I ordered were available. To add insult to injury, they didn’t suggest any alternatives, despite having other donuts displayed on the shelves. The staff was rude and condescending towards customers. I highly recommend going to the Giant supermarket just five minutes away for much better donuts.

They have the best chocolate donuts, and occasionally they offer jelly-filled ones as well. The coolatas are amazing, especially when topped with whipped cream—delicious! But it all depends on whether they’re made correctly; otherwise, I won’t hesitate to toss them out.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When I asked for a cup of water, the woman working there rudely told me to stop being so thirsty, which was completely unnecessary. Two weeks later, I returned with my 13-month-old niece and nephew, who were excited to see the donuts. I put them on the counter, but the same woman told me to take them away, stating that this is Dunkin’ Donuts, not a donut zoo. When I inquired if I had done something wrong, she claimed her behavior was due to a Trump sticker on my car when I parked. This felt discriminatory, and I believe everyone should consider boycotting this place. Thank you, Karen.

The service at this restaurant is impressively fast and friendly, even during busy periods. The donuts are consistently fresh, and the drinks are extremely refreshing. It's an excellent spot to grab a meal!
