Charcoal Grill - Southampton

Excellent service, which was first. Produced me with perfectly cooked fries, I know as I’ve previously worked in fast food. These guys care about quality and it shows. Will visit again!

Isn't a terrible kebab shop, food is okay at best, but definitely is not my first choice. Usually go to the Charcoal Grill in Portswood (the LEGIT Charcoal Grill), but if in a rush I end up here. Kebab tastes below standard, the chilli sauce is wayyyy too hot. Also, if you would like your sauce in a pot on the side rather than splattered all over your food, they charge you 80p just to put it in a foam sauce cup which I think is completely unreasonable and shows how much they give a damn about customer service. When spending over £15 on a couple kebabs, they should have the decency to put your sauce in a pot for free like every other kebab shop in the UK does- they would rather charge because they don't care about their customers. However, the chicken was nice. That's probably about it.

Ordered small kebab and chips said order twice; no chillies, little onion, extra tomato. Received chillies, LOADS of onion, NO tomatoes

Ordered food at 920pm and never arrived tried calling no answer used these for years and never had this issue foods normally great i guess its been taken over

I have ordered from this place on many of occasions and the few times have been brilliant.. However recently the food has drastically gone down hill. The Donner kebab was so greasy it was as if they had put it in the box and dropped the whole box in the fryer and then sent it out.. I get Donner meat isn't the leanest of meats but it was way to greasy compared to many other kebab houses, within 10 minutes the kebab had gone through me... I gave the benefit of the doubt and tried again a couple of days later but i ordered a burger... that was a very fine mistake. The burger was anemic and dripping with grease, the bun was soggy condensation) and the fries where dry and cold. I will not be ordering again. Im sorry charcoal but you have gone down hill so much, its such a shame :
