Nando's - Southampton

This was an average experience at Nando's. The food was decent, although not very hot. I did find a medium spice level sticker in my chicken pita, but that could have been my mistake. The staff was friendly and the service was fast.

I received the wrong order at this restaurant. The food was only lukewarm, and the staff seemed hurried. The flavor was truly unpleasant. I will never visit any location of this expensive and highly praised chain again.

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! Fake kids's chicken burger I am still absolutely shocked to discover my kid's chicken burger was fake chicken. Both of my kids ordered the same as both mentioned to me it was a little chewy but youngest ate it all but my oldest left most of his. I decided to eat it myself and it felt like I was eating wet paper. So I took the chicken and rinse it under water, to my shocking discovery, I was left with white stringy matter. I showed it to the store manager and he reimbursed me for a single child's meal......What is this place serving our kids, fake chicken? poison? I just pray my children won't get sick cause if they do, they will have to answer to this. Absolutely shocking!!

We came to this restaurant for a quick lunch, but ended up waiting a long time. We ordered our food through our phone and asked them to start preparing our main course when the starter arrived, as it was meant to be shared between two people. After waiting for 30 minutes, we had to ask a waitress to check on our order. She went to the kitchen and brought out our food, which had been sitting there for at least 10 minutes. The food was decent, but the staff seemed disinterested and overwhelmed. One person seemed to be handling all the tasks, while another waitress was repeatedly walking around the restaurant without acknowledging the customers.

This Nandos is like any other. I guess that is the idea with which these places pride themselves. They are all very much similar. But what was significant here was the long queue. Granted it was a Saturday lunchtime. And add to that the fact it was Chinese New Year. Therefore, it is reasonable to say that the highlight was the long wait for a table. In their favour, however, the queue was efficiently managed and we got our table quite quickly.
