Sanjha Punjabi Caterings - Southampton

My wife and I went to the restaurant for a Valentine's dinner. As usual, the food, drinks, and service were excellent. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the occasion, and we even received a complimentary rose and drinks. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our experience special.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the service was good. The veggie pakoras were crispy and delicious. However, we noticed that the portion sizes seem to have gotten smaller (shrinkflation). Unfortunately, the Lamb dish was grisly, which is disheartening for us as non-vegetarian customers. We hope that the standard of food remains high as we enjoy dining there. It is important to maintain authentic Punjabi desi flavors for successful North Indian cuisine.

This time was not very satisfactory.... I ordered the lamb and it was poorly prepared with an excessive amount of gristle. This is unexpected at Sanjha!! Be careful with the chairs as two people had theirs crash loudly to the ground (they seem to be very back-heavy). The new furniture is very beautiful, especially the inlaid tables.

I love this place ! I always get excited when I’m there. The food is so delicious! Indian food on ‘the next level’! Love the flavours and diverse menu. Check out the lunch menu for great value!

Excellent pre Christmas get together with friends and family. Excellent food and excellent service!! Vibrant atmosphere with friendly staff and mouth watering food.
