The atmosphere of the venue is great and the staff is friendly and professional. Upon arriving at the bar downstairs, the bartender recommended a Crug and Cask-IPA that not only warmed us up on a cold winter night but also helped us enjoy our evening.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drink selection, especially the ales. The range of ales, both cask and keg, is impressive with various flavors and alcohol percentages. The vegan options are good, although they could be expanded. The vegan garlic bread is priced higher than the regular cheese garlic bread. The menu indicates that a side of seasonal vegetables is vegan and gluten-free, but be sure to specify your dietary preferences as the vegetables are typically served with butter. The staff were proactive in confirming our food choices to ensure they were vegan. The selection of cakes on the special board looked tempting, but they are made fresh and require a 40-minute wait. Despite not having enough time to try the cakes, we will definitely return in the future. Overall, highly recommended.
I came here with my partner for Valentine's Day and the dining experience was fantastic and affordable. They have a great selection of vegan options and the portion sizes were generous. I tried the sausage roll, mushroom bourguignon, and sticky toffee pudding, all of which were delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting – definitely worth a visit!
I tried a beer in the pub that tasted like water. I complained to the staff and returned an almost complete pint back, they would not acknowledge my complaining. I had to ask for the manager who rejected my complaint that I don't like the taste of this beer, but they asked for a taste booster first. I answered that the beer was bought in a round, and so I couldn't try the beer. she rejected me another option and made me and my friends amazed at her approach. if this had been any other pub, they would have either reimbursed or offered me another beer, as the negative experience for my group of 8 friends do not want this place to recommend anyone. if a microbrauerei bier is produced that cannot be bought in other pubs, they have to forgive something more if a customer has a real complain.
