Staks Pancake Kitchen - Southaven

We went to the memphis TN poplar ave location. They Took more than 30 minutes to bring out food out !! I had the pork sensation skillet . I finally got my food it was really bland no seasoning , hash browns was dry , i got some cubed ham that look like it came out the pack , with bacon bits , and no sausage . Food was cold . Biscuit was dry and gravy was nasty lemonade was watered down

My first time there Saturday (April 6). The food was great. We were given time to place order and directed to go and pay. Great food and service. Will be coming back soon

The food is good, just seems they are short on people and you will have to wait long time or have orders mixed. Hopefully those issues are just temporary.

Pancakes were too cake like. And the french toast was just thick sandwich bread that was also dry in the center.

High scores for friendliness and service but food was below average for my taste. Pancakes were not fluffy. Omelet was subpar. Pancake dog seemed to be cooked in old oil. Maybe I ordered badly, so I will try again because of the atmosphere.
