Much like any other bar at Crown Casino, Lumia is beautiful but is mostly all for show. Sit outside to enjoy a stunning view of the CBD and river from the mezzanine, or gather your group indoors on the lounges. Located just a short stumble away from the blackjack tables, Lumia is a great place to catch your breath on a crazy Casino night, but unless you're highrolling I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for it.
Horrid. It's part of crown. Horrible people, environment, decor and setting, and just generally a place I want to avoid in spades. But at the same I'll go anywhere to get a better gauge of what Melbourne has to offer. You're not missing out; this is run of the mill stocking filler. Very trashy, and very touristy, catering to the lowest common denominator. Good for big groups though, if you actually manage to find a spare seat.
At the Clarendon st end of Crown Casino, you'll find this contemporary and stylish lounge. It is predominantly a cocktail bar, and is a nice place to kick off your evening with friends and a few drinks to loosen up with! a giant spiral sits in the centre of the lounge, leading up to views over the street outside. Its particularly nice to sip a cocktail here while watching the weekday peak hour traffic theres something to be said about watching others rsh around while you dont have to!
