Antonio's - Southbury

My husband and I enjoyed a nice evening at Antonio's. The restaurant is located in a beautiful, historic building. We decided to sit on the terrace overlooking the beautiful Heritage Village Golf Course. The surroundings are breathtaking. Our waitress Ellen was wonderful. She was friendly, helpful and prompt. I have a limited diet and was pleased when she returned from the kitchen and said that they would do everything I had on the menu gluten-free for me. My Chicken Marsala was delicious and served with creamy potatoes. My husband had the Aubergines Nona with Pasta and loved her! Both dinners were delicious and more generous, which we couldn't finish, we brought home. We both enjoyed this restaurant and will return soon.

I had a 75 this month. Birthday party with Antonio. The staff was a pleasure working with whom. They did everything they could to make my event a success. They offered 4 of my friends with delicious gluten-free meals and another friend with a strict organic food. There were 46 guests together so that this attention to detail meant even more to me. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We shared an appetizer of crabcakes that might be the best I ever had! My duck of calf salt imbocca was delicious, cooked for perfection, al dente asparagus and creamy potatoes were a perfect compliment to the dish. I highly recommend this facility.

The new menu is fantastic! The standard salad is only $6 and is more than enough to share between two people. They also serve crusty homemade whole grain bread with herbal butter. Tonight, we ate in the bar area and enjoyed a juicy burger with delicious bread, and the scrumptious Shepherd's Pie would definitely make England proud! I miss the staff. I had a Sam Adams Cold Snap on Hahn, all at a 15% discount. Next time, I’m looking forward to trying the Seafood Pasta Rockefeller!

I hosted a party there last weekend, and both the wait staff and the food were excellent. The eggplant dish was absolutely delicious, and the chicken franchise was fantastic as well.
