Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Ate there the day after Christmas, dining room was freezing, food was cold. This was my 3rd visit with the food being cold. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

I love the hospitality I received from the staff during my visit.

My family and I arrived at Cracker Barrel on Wednesday at 9:00. We haven't seen our food until 10:00. When I finally got my breakfast at 10:00, I first saw my pancakes where burned, stiff, and had such a thick consistency. When I tasted my bacon, I could taste the stiffness in them. I knew they were sitting there long while the other food cooked. I was really disappointed to get my breakfast this way. I would have the time it took to cook it when the food tastes fresh. As a mother of three I wanted to go and eat with my family and be able to get a warm cozy meal. My men and children were given the same food there! I tasted her food to know that, but my husband is not the guy to complain. In addition to waiting and food quality, our server has not refilled or harassed my children orange juice. She didn't bring me my syrup for my pancakes or ketchup for our hash brews. She disappeared moments at a time when another server noticed and brought our coffee Idk the server that refilled our coffee, but she was an older lady. The server that is not attentive is Kajuana. B. It is so disappointing that this happens to you that our family has been with several crackers barrel and never happened. Cracker Barrel is known, high quality foods have a family atmosphere, but that wasn't it.

We stopped during a busy evening meal, with a short 10 minutes waiting for space. the pictures I published are some of the elements that caught our attention during the waiting. our beautiful server was very sweet, and apologise that the new menu does not fully reflect. (She was gone from work because of the pandemic, she made my friend the best coffee! the friend even filled her thermos to go home. I decided to enjoy the chopped steak dinner with turnip greens and speck mac and cheese. my friend had the same dinner, but with broccoli (do not bit soggy and mashed, with the wobbles and gravy above. my russel green were tender and seasoned perfect. I wish my mac and cheese were not dirty. I would have asked for something else if the speck had not been crispy and would have saved the taste a bit. Although, if it was not rude to lick the plate, I think my friend would have done this. She even decided to take a teller for her man. remember to have the cornbrot!

This place never disappoints. Yesterday it was said that it would wait 15-20 minutes. I think we waited 10 minutes. They told us it could take a while because they only had TW0 servers. We didn't wait for anything. Our server looked like 5-7 tables. She brought our breakfast (something was delicious.) She was so attentive. Can I wait for my next trip to Southern Pines. Even the manager was a superstar. We were brought to our table, my mother had back and neck surgery, and I myself had double knees, the manager saw us and told the hostess to put us on a table where we were. I can't express what wonderful experience that was. I wish I could give 10 stars!
