Mcalister's Deli - Southern Pines

I really enjoy the food and sweet tea at McAllister's, but they should definitely consider using different cups. The ones they currently have sweat a lot, and the ice melts quickly.

Nice people. Clean. Good sandwiches. The one in Fayetteville sucked. We were starving and didn't want fast food. I was pleasantly surprised

Cashier was pleasant but they were out of ice at lunchtime. Most of the tables were empty but they were all filthy. Perhaps they were short staffed...that's all too common nowadays. Food was okay but not great. That may be on me as I expected better from McAllister's. I am willing to try there again.

Showed up at 8:20 pm last night. The store wasn?t supposed to close until 9 pm. As soon as we walked in, two staff members glared at us, and the cook that had a meal made in a to-go box threw it across the little waitress window. My wife, son, and I ordered and then sat down to eat. The cook had placed our meals in to-go boxes like the staff wanted us to go. We sat at an open table and enjoyed our meal. The soup that my wife and son ordered was super cold though. My wife wanted some extra ranch, so went to the counter to ask for some. The server said .54 cents. My only had a card, so went to pay for it. The tip screen came up, and the server said you have to put something on there or you can?t purchase the ranch. Since I had already tipped the staff when I initially ordered, my wife said no thanks and didn?t even get the ranch. We all finished eating in 10 minutes and left. I have never felt more rushed at any restaurant. While we were eating we could here the staff complaining about us being there and all the mobile orders coming in. I do not recommend this McCalister?s. Very disappointed since this is one of our favorite chains.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad and a baked potato, and wow, they were amazing! The salad was fresh, with crisp lettuce and veggies, and the baked potato was loaded with cheese. I couldn’t finish it all, so I saved some for later. The staff here are so kind and friendly. I also ordered a gallon of tea because it's just as delicious! If you haven’t been here yet, you need to go. They won’t disappoint, trust me—you’ll become addicted just like I am!
